Angst ist nicht nur eine menschliche Grundemotion, sondern ein gesellschaftliches Phanomen. Jungst wurde sie zum charakteristischen Gefuhl westlicher Gegenwartsgesellschaften erklart und insbesondere mit politisch regressiven Entwicklungen, allen voran dem Aufstieg des Rechtspopulismus, in Verbindung gebracht. Ausgehend von Befunden eines aktuell veranderten gesellschaftlichen Stellenwerts der Angst untersucht der Sammelband in interdisziplinarer Perspektive gegenwartige Ursachen, Auswirkungen, Reprasentationen, Auspragungen, Deutungen und Praktiken der Angst. Mithilfe unterschiedlicher konzeptueller, theoretischer und methodisch-empirischer Zugange werden im Sinne einer interdisziplinaren Gesellschaftswissenschaft der Angst die vielfaltigen sozialen, politischen und kulturellen Bedeutungen der Angst in gegenwartigen Gesellschaften beleuchtet.

We developed this toolkit to help those operating living labs and others wishing to carry out research and innovation activities with users to make it easier to translate from user needs to products, services and solutions. The toolkit is a full-colour book with over 100 pages including a foreword by Professor Alvaro Oliveira, President of the ENoLL Association and Chair of the Council of the European Network of Living Labs. Topics include an introduction to user-participation and living labs, as well as the steps needed to be taken to engage with people before, during and after participation exercises. The book also includes several relevant profiles, a full case study as well as a separate chapter on governance and ethical issues in participation.

How can contemporary dance contribute to a critical discourse on age and ageing? Built on the premise that age(ing) is something we practice and perform as individuals and as a society, Susanne Martin asks for and develops strategies that allow dance artists to do age(ing) differently. As a whole, this project is an artistic research inquiry, which draws on and contributes to dance practice. Die Unternehmen mussen sich fruhzeitig auf die strategischen und die technisch-organisatorischen Auswirkungen der Wahrungsunion auf ihr Unternehmen und den damit verbundenen hohen Anpassungsbedarf vorbereiten, um moglichen Wettbewerbsnachteilen und Ressourcenengpassen zu entgehen. Die Vorbereitungen der Grossunternehmen und des Finanzsektors sind schon weit fortgeschritten. Dagegen haben sich die meisten KMU noch nicht ausreichend mit den Konsequenzen der Wahrungsunion beschaftigt. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass die Euro-Einfuhrung alle Bereiche des Unternehmens betrifft, ist es erforderlich, sich so fruh wie moglich mit dem Thema Euro zu beschaftigen. Der Beschaffungsmarkt wird sich durch die Wahrungsunion verandern. Ein erleichterter Marktzugang, erhohte Preistransparenz sowie der Wegfall der Kosten fur Wahrungsumtausch und Kurssicherung werden das Angebot an Waren und Dienstleistungen erhohen und attraktiver machen. Die Unternehmen konnen diese Vorteile zur Optimierung des Einkaufs nutzen, indem sie neue und gunstigere Bezugsquellen -eventuell im Ausland- in Anspruch nehmen. Die Wahrungsunion hat auch Konsequenzen fur die Produktion. Hinsichtlich der Produktgestaltung- und Qualitat muss sich die Produktion auf veranderte Kundenbedurfnisse einstellen. Eventuell mussen auch Anderungen der Verpackungsgrossen bzw. der Abfullmengen -aufgrund neuer Schwellenpreise- vorgenommen werden.
